Leo Leader Announcement from Katie the Counselor and Mr. Boettcher
This year Katie and Mr. Boettcher are once again getting ready to open up applications for Leo Leaders for the 2019/20 school year. We are looking for students who want to work hard to build a better community through example, leadership and service. These students will need to be at school a day before school starts in the fall for a day of training as well. Unfortunately, we can only accept 30 students, so many well deserving students will have to seek other leadership opportunities (keep an ear on the bulletin for additional experiences)! The timeline for applications are as follows:
May 1, Applications are available for any student that would like to apply
May 7, Teacher nominations are due (students will need 2 teacher nominations to be invited to the Activity Interview Day)
May 10, Student applications are due to the envelope on the Leadership Bulletin Board
May 24 Activity Interviews during periods 2-3
May 27 Activity interview day
May 31 Decisions are made.
Let Mr. Boettcher (dboettcher@pps.net) or  Katie (kloewen@pps.net) if you have any questions.
