Advance purchase of tickets to the spring play is recommended. There are 4 tracks that will travel around the school and tickets are limited to 25 people per group. If you have a student in the show that you want to travel with, be sure to get a ticket with that camp group. The performances start at 6 pm on the 15th - 17th and 2 pm on the 18th. The show starts in the auditorium and there will be no late seating.

8th Grade Promotion Help Please sign up on Signup Genius if you can help with the Promotion tasks. We especially appreciate families of 6th and 7th graders taking on some of these duties so those with 8th graders can enjoy the event.
Laundry! We still have some costumes from the Dance Concert that need washing. There are about eight bags still in the gym if you can take one or two home and do this.
Lost & Found- There is still a mountain of coats and clothing in the Lost and Found and we need to start moving it out. Can you take a few bags home for washing and donation?
Poetry Slam
On Thursday, May 23, from 3:30 to 3:50 pm, current da Vinci student poets will sign up to compete in the Slam. Students must have two original, polished, and well-rehearsed poems. The competition begins promptly at 4 p.m. in the da Vinci auditorium. There will be cash prizes.
End of Year Planning
As the end of the school year approaches, please take care of remaining meal account balances due and returning library books. The last day to check out books will be May 24th.
Yearbooks

Registration for Dance Camp is now open
The annual summer Dance camp by Dancescape will run June 24th-28th this year, from 10 am - 3 pm, with the option to add ballet at 9am - just like last year. Please follow this link to register.
Volunteers needed for the Irvington Home Tour
Held Sunday, May 19th, the annual home tour is a fundraiser for the Irvington Community Association. The organization generously donated to da Vinci this year toward the purchase of Chromebooks and we are hoping that some folks will be able to help out at their event. As a Home Tour Volunteer, you will receive a complimentary ticket ($30 value) to view all the homes on the tour. Send an email to Kevin Hughes at volunteer@irvingtonhometour.com to confirm your participation and indicate your preferred shift (note: volunteers for the 2nd shift from 1:45pm - 5:00pm are needed most).
