The da Vinci auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Not only is it the main way we raise critical funds to support staffing our arts programming, it's also a great way to meet and mingle with other da Vinci families. Join us for great food from Pine State Biscuits, beer & wine, silent & live auctions, and student performances.

Don’t miss out on your chance to win one of the live auction items with a Golden Ticket. You need not be present to win (but it will be more fun if you’re there). For $40, you can purchase a Golden Ticket for any 6 items, including a beautiful quilt made by textile students. See details and all the options on the auction website. The winner will be chosen right before the live auction begins.

Can you volunteer at the Auction? We still need a few slots filled to make this event run smoothly- Help! Sign up on SignUpGenius.

Call for submissions to Dragons’ Fire Attention, student writers: it is time to submit your best writing to da Vinci's schoolwide literary magazine, Dragons' Fire. Now accepting submissions of all types of writing: poetry, stories, flash fiction, essays, personal narratives, etc. To submit your work, please join the Dragons' Fire Google Classroom (invite code is 07a0pr7) and attach your work to the first assignment. This opportunity is open to all students! Please make sure your name is on your piece(s), and that each piece has a title. Deadline is Friday, May 10.

Support the visual arts and build your own ice cream sundae! Buy a $10 ticket by May 1st. Then come build your own ice cream sundae after school in the cafeteria on Wednesday, May 29th. The ice cream fundraiser is open to all da Vinci students, families, and staff. There will be a vegan/non-dairy frozen dessert available, but please let us know ahead of time if you prefer non-dairy. Tickets are required for entry and must be purchased by May 1st. No sales will happen on the day of the event. If your family can donate more than $10, it is very much appreciated as every dollar goes toward the da Vinci visual arts program. We prefer families pay on School Pay so we can most easily keep track of ticket sales. We will also accept cash or checks made out to da Vinci middle school. Please put cash or checks in an envelope with your student's full name on it. We would love more volunteers to help out. Please sign up here if you can join us. Thank you!

Attendance Reminder If your student will be arriving late or be absent for any reason, please email sbryan@pps.net or call the main office number, 503-916-5356. Let us know the student’s name and the reason for the absence.
