March 21, Late Opening, school starts at 10:45 - heArt Learning Day: Compassion & Creativity

March 24 - April 1- Spring Break

April 13- Planning day, no school

April 15- da Vinci Annual Auction- Save the Date!  

April 18- Late Opening, school starts at 10:45

April 26- da Vinci day at the PPS/PTA Clothing Center 9:30 am - 1:30 pm, volunteers needed

April 27 & 28- Spring Dance Showcase

May 6-11- Outdoor School for all 6th graders

May 9-11- Ashland Trip with Shannon Wasson (extended application deadline of 3/15)

JUNE 7- 8th Grade Promotion at Madison High School 5 pm (This is the plan, pending any changes to the calendar due to possible snow days being added)

Once Upon a Mattress

The spring musical, Once Upon a Mattress concludes with today’s matinee at 2 pm. Tickets are available at the door. All seats are general admission, $10.

Help wanted immediately following the show for set strike TODAY

We need the stage to be available for dance rehearsals starting Monday. Right after the final show, we’ll start striking the set and we need a work crew. All helpers welcome. Bring tools if you can. Especially helpful are power drills with Phillips screwdriver heads and hammers. The more the merrier, so stay after the show for a little bit and help get this done.

Spring Dance Concert is coming April 27 & 28

If you have a student in year-long dance, please make sure you have reviewed the concert packet of information, including the mandatory after-school rehearsals and return that paperwork.  A volunteer sign up posted so plan ahead and figure out when you can see the show and when you can help out. This show requires a lot of family support. Online ticket sales will be posted on April 2 for dance families and they will be available to the public on April 16th. These shows do sell out!

Get the date on your calendar now and plan to come for a fun evening at the lovely BodyVox on NW 17th Ave. See the auction website for a list of our sponsors so far, to purchase tickets, and to preview the items donated. We’ve got some great stuff! Ticket includes dinner, drinks, entertainment and enjoyable company of your da Vinci community.
